Rodney Carrington was unforgettable!
For Christmas, I purchased tickets for my husband. Not knowing exactly how the live show would be, my husband is a huge fan of Donavon Frankenreiter. The opening act was amazing, he got the crowd loosened up. Upon the start of the show, they played a viewing of some of Donavon's previous performances to get you excited to see him. I loved how, staying on that subject, after the show, the opening act was out at the stands helping out with the sales. Now, onto Donavon. I have honestly never laughed so hard. My husband and I attend a lot of comedy shows, and even though I had heard Donavon on the radio, seeing him in person was the topping on the cake. He was non-stop, keeping the crowd laughing without a moment of silence. Another thing I loved is a lot of comedians seem to think if they curse more, they are funnier, and after a while, it gets old. He also appealed to all age groups. We sat in front of an elderly couple and they were laughing just as hard. Donavon knew exactly what to say at the exact moment! This is truly the best comedy show I have ever been to. I would absolutely recommend it and will absolutely be returning to his next show in Columbus.
